I like the gold ones, going up to 17"? BTW I had a hell of a time getting steelies to work on my mazda something hub centrick BS, but they would not ballance and the tires vibrated horribly. I ended up buying the cheepest alloys they had for my snow tires, no issues after that.

Gold ones make that look like a Redskins-mobile.

I’d be curious to see white steelies on it ...

I like them but wow... Haven’t seen a car that needed bigger wheels that bad in a while.

Hmmm....

Too much? Nah, 4 is just enough.

I like the gold. I wouldn’t have thought so, but they just work.

Or, if I was back in LA, a USC fan; an old boss of mine drove a red and gold Acura Legend with the license plate ‘USCDR92'. Ick. I’m more of a UCLA fan, but I’m not going to repaint the car...

I was looking for silver but they only had black. Maybe some Moon covers?

I’m actually OK with the stock 16" wheels on the car now. I bought the Sport model to get the 6MT, but did want the smaller wheels for a little more ride comfort. I figure that if I upgrade I should probably step up to 17s.

I was hoping to find gold with a polished rim, like the BBSs a friend had on his Rabbit and Scirocco. But these all gold ones aren’t too bad.

Saw a 5 the other day with a straight 5 star, it looked good, something like this;

You can get Rotas to fit right?

I’m just going by what Tire Rack has, and they don’t have any Rotas, at least none to fit my car. It’s the same bolt pattern as a Miata NC, so there must be some out there.

To be honest, I’d almost prefer to have some OEM Mazda6 wheels like the ones below. I almost had a deal for a set, with nearly new tires, for $100, but the flake on CL didn’t respond to my emails until it was too late :(

I think it might be a little too sporty for a Mazda 5, especially one of the newer ones. The one that Vicali posted (which my family owned at one point, pretty great car) would maybe look better.

I also think if the colour was darker, it would look less ostentatious but still kind of carry the same idea.

You’re probably right. I think I shall resume my search for a set of 2002-2008 OEM Mazda6 17" wheels instead.

If you’re going for stealth - why not Mazdaspeed3 wheels? Unless you are sticking to 17s for pre-existing tire reasons
