I’ve never driven a vehicle with more than one set of tracks. Why would the second set make it not be able to run one whole side in one direction and another set.

I don’t think there’s anything preventing it technically speaking, but realistically, doing that with such a long vehicle means dragging a lot of track sideways which i can’t imagine is good for them or the wheels.

Turning tracks on the spot is really hard on them, little machines like a skid-steer are great at it. Trying it with something that big is going to end up breaking things and getting expensive.
