the Rally Fighter has NA Miata door handles, or Del Sol/EG Civic door handles
That fuel cap looks like a Miata part as well

Aside from the chassis, body panels, and a few other things, every part on these is from some other mass produced vehicle. They did that so parts are cheap and easy to find if something breaks. I was at SEMA the year these were introduced and had a chance to talk to the rep for a little while. Pretty cool stuff.

I believe the fuel tank and pump are out of a BMW X5 and the rear end (including Watts link and brakes) from an Explorer.

It was originally supposed to have a BMW V8 (M62?), but BMW backed out and decided not to sell the engines to Local Motors.

That’s awesome! They didn’t reveal that when I visited the factory a couple years ago.
