My alfa has two different interior pull handles.

The passenger side has a nice looking handle

Whereas the driver side has something that looks like it would be found on a bathroom drawer

There is a very good reason for this. If both doors had the same handle tall drivers would have to choose between jamming their knee into the steering wheel or the handle. Alfa Romeo realized this, so while the workers were on strike they took a trip to the local negozio di mobili and bought the cheapest handles they had in stock.

Actually I think the idea is that the passenger one doubles as a grab handle (or even panic handle, depending on the prowess of the driver)
