I’m sorry for what happened to your cat. But it’s not the fault of the breed. My golden retriever was not fond of cats either, but I highly doubt anyone would consider them a bad breed.

It’s okay with me if you don’t understand how breeding works and you want one bred for fighting in your house. I just contradict the pretending that they are meant to be gentle

Oh wow. I offer condolences and you go straight to insulting me and my dog. So did you let an unsocialized dog into your house or did you let your cat out unsupervised? Either way, Doesn’t sound like an animal issue...

A blood hound will sniff the ground instinctively because this is what it is bred for. It doesn’t have to be “abused or raised wrong”. If a pitt bull is not aggressive to other animals then it’s a bad one since it’s behavior doesn’t match what it’s bred for. Cognitive dissonance will prevent you from understanding because otherwise you have to acknowledge the animal you love is dangerous

Pitbulls were bred to watch children. They were called the nannny dog for decades before they got their current stigma. If you don’t know about a breed other than what the media tells you, then shut the fuck up from now on.

You need to check your sources. Maybe some that involve facts about dogs
