And it’s bloody maddening!
A friend has a 350X with a fresh rebuild that should run like a scared cat. But the clutch refuses to.. Uh.. Engage? Disengage? Jeez.. It no scootey scootey. I’m tearing down a never opened bottom end txt by txt to help figure out what’s wrong. But, I think it’s coming down to driving out and looking at it first hand.
On a less maddening note. I found this cool casting mark on the clutch cover.
Neat! I nerd out over little details like these often.

I can’t find the photo right now, but we had a PSA cylinder head at work that both the Peugeot and Citroën marks in the casting which is pretty cool.

I’ll put five buck on the clutch bolts not being torqued correctly. DON’T ask me why I think that.

I’m wondering about that and disc count. Aftermarket clutch kits seem to leave one steel out for some reason.
