That’s the great thing about cars. Your car can be exactly what you want it to be if you’re willing to put in the work.

This may be the only potential Miata collision that would result in one on top of the other. Watch out for the DP.

I should really take off the autocross numbers... it would probably be sketchier to autocross than the slammed Miata anyway.

Haha, yep! I think it’s silly to drive a slammed Miata with excessive camber, but I care about that less than if someone’s enjoying driving it (as long as it’s safe). I’m sure there are plenty of people who think a lifted Miata is silly, too.

Nah it looks good. You need to paint the wheels white to match though.

Haha, they are absolutely mint , or I would. I didn’t expect them to look so good on the car, but I really like them. White would definitely be better, but oh well.

They look like a lighter, version of some Mickey Thompson wheels. Which make sense.

Like that, but with 7 holes. Even better!

It is, but it’s the best kind of silly.

Your Miata is just asking to be Rallycrossed.

Ice racing! I don’t want to take it on any super rough terrain - it’s still on Bilsteins with the same amount of travel. I’ve seen other people with the lift kit go harder than I would, but I’ll leave that sort of thing up to them.

There’s also winter autocross on a road course and on a kart track nearby, but we haven’t had enough snow to make those especially attractive. TBD.

Plus, it’s a completely reversible bolt-on. It’ll still be a track car again in a few months! :-D

A lifted Miata would be a hoot on a Rallycross course. I need to find out if I fit in an NA. I can’t get my leg under the steering wheel of an ND.

Even with a quick-release wheel, mine is about as tight as I’m comfortable with. The custom-built rollbar has a harness bar that’s further forward than I’d like, so it’s a little bit cramped. My old NA was fine, especially with fixed-back seats. You’re more than welcome to give it a try sometime!
