My favorite wagon I’ve owned.

Kinja'd!!!

But for $400, this was cool too.

Kinja'd!!!

Especially when I sold it six months later for $800.

Love love love that E-Class. A lady in my kid’s school carpool has a white one (E350) with black roof, bone stock, just gorgeous. I keep waiting for the right moment to say “Hey, when your lease is up, I’d like to buy it” without looking like a weirdo.

Wagovan! Love those..I had a buddy who swapped a b-series(can’t remember which one..maybe b18) in one. It was really quick and definitely surprised some real sportscars.

Can vouch for Saturn, best car I’ve ever owned, paid 700, drove the wheels of for 2 years and only needed an alternator, blew the rings and sold for $400.

I’ve had two. One was a basic FWD wagon. So much potential - it was just a Civic/CRX from the A-pillar forward, so all the engine swaps would’ve worked. My second (the one in the pic) was a RT4WD wagon. That, plus studded snow tires, made it an awesome winter car.

I’ve had four! This one was my last - a 94 SW2 with a 5-speed! A manual Saturn wagon was basically a unicorn. I was down to just my Miata and was actually shopping around for a hardtop to get it through winter (typically $1000 or more), then found this entire car for $400. The economics just made sense. Then, after I sold it for $800, I bought an $800 Miata hardtop.

Nice mine was a 93 sw1 but also manual, loved the little shift indicator light. So optimistic....

Yup, lots of potential. Ive owned 2 crx’s, one hacked up 90 si with a jackson racing supercharged b16, my second one was a super clean 89 hf with a built b18c/kaaz lsd hpde focused project. I miss the light weight and simplicity of them. I gave up on Honda’s after the second one got stolen and stripped..

The only manual E91 for sale on cars.com. Hard to justify 30k for it though ...
