I do like the styling of the 300 quite a bit. Especially with those nismo-esque wheels

Your ranking is... pretty accurate to be honest.
Chrysler USA can be coolest of them all sometimes, but on a bad day, Chrysler USA are bad .
I also must admit I noticed a bit of a nasty pattern.
>Chrysler buys Rootes and Simca.
>>Chrysler kills Rootes and Simca.
>>>Chrysler buys American Motors.
>>>>Chrysler kills American Motors.
>>>>>Chrysler buys Mercedes-Benz.
>>>>>>Chrysler kills Mercedes-Benz, or at least their reputation.
>>>>>>>Chrysler buys Fiat.

Isn’t the 300 a left-over Merc. E-class?

I thought that was Australia

Chrysler (or whatever they’re called these days) hasn’t made anything in Australia since the ‘80s.

Portions of it are. And some parts are from the Renault/AMC Premier, some from the ‘90s LH cars.

FCA Australia actually imports a fair number of cars, including most of the jeep line as well as Fiat and Alfa. The 300 also gets imported, including the not for US ST 300, which is a very good car for the Australian market.

Except Mercedes and Fiat bought Chrysler, not the other way around. The company has changed hands three times in the last 20 years.

True, although in both cases the two companies end up affecting each other anyway.
It doesn’t mean Chrysler is any less of a bad influence regardless. :P

Yes, but they’re not made by FCA Australia, they’re made by FCA US, FCA Canada, FCA Italy, etc. Chrysler ditched their Australian manufacturing almost 40 years ago.
