At least we got to eat before it died! 110kph gust windstorm going on here right now.

Called the outage line and the estimate to get it back is 8am tomorrow morning. It will be a long night...

Nope! Temp is hovering around 0C or 1C or so...no generator either. Should stay warm enough in the house overnight to prevent the pipes from freezing though!

I have been to NS. It was about 35 years ago, but my family did a drive from Norfolk, VA all the way up to St. Anthony, with stops in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI along the way. Great trip, beautiful country.
