My in laws got me a 36 pack of new socks and my wife turns to me and goes “so now you’re gonna throw out all your gross old socks, right?” Ahaha

Actually, wasn’t it just a few years ago that those Nike Elite socks actually were an in-demand Christmas gift for middle & high school kids?

I regularly ASK for socks.

When mine retire, they get to serve in either car washing duty (I don’t own a new car, by any stretch of the imagination) or oil changing duty.

Nike Elites are great, though. I’ve had a pair for four years and they’re still in perfect shape; comparable Adidas socks got holes after a few months.

Yes, so do we. I think everyone in our house requested socks of one form or another

They are a superior sock, no question. Have some extra cushioning in them, too.

I got fully water proof but still somehow breathable socks. Didn’t know that it was a thing I guess when your boots are no longer waterproof you go the cheap route and get waterproof socks:)
