My secret Santa at work gave me some homemade coquito. It’s sort of like egg nog, but with no eggs. There’s rum, cinnamon, and coconut flavors. It is delicious.

Good food and good people I have not seen for 10+ years.

I don’t know what coquito is but it sounds yummy. I finally cracked a bomber of Southern Tier Warlock I’ve had in the fridge for awhile.

She described it as “Puerto Rican eggnog without eggs”. She also gave me some local beer, as did my boss. They know what I like.

My boss mailed me beer from Blue Mountain (Dark Hollow) and Center of the Universe (El Duderino)! I don’t think I’ve even dated a guy who paid so much attention to what I drink. I’m excited.

I haven’t tried El Duderino yet. I’ve had a couple of their other mainstream beers (Pocahoptas and Ray Ray’s) and when I went to the brewery last month I had a very nice IPA called You Are Here. My secret Santa gave me a 6-pack of Hardywood Singel and my boss gave me a mixed 6-pack.

El Duderino is pretty amazing if you like that sort of beer. I’ve never tried anything else from them though. And funny coincidence, I got Hardywood Singel in our white elephant exchange when I was at corporate a few weeks ago.
I’ve bookmarked a coquito recipe now, too. Coconut is always good.

A glass of this (not my photo). Delicious, seriously delicious. Everything that comes out of this winery seems to be top notch.

Spiced cider at the Arboretum, where we were visiting the 12 Days of Christmas display. I should have brought a hip flask to give it some kick.
