My driveway has an extra thing for a few days...

In-laws in town or one of the Subarus in the shop?

Is it a V6? Although I guess it’s probably not if it’s a rental.

I’m quite jealous. I’ve wanted to drive one of these since they came out, but every time I go to rent, they give me one of the old style.

My parents actually. Though I will be dropping the Forester off on the 26th when the shop opens back up to get the used wheel I bought installed and get an alignment.

It’s my parents rental. Hopefully I get a chance to drive it a little bit.

It’s the turbo 4. I wouldn’t be surprised to see a V6 though just because the rental companies might want to avoid the complexity of a turbo motor. I had a V6 Camaro in May rather than the I4.

True, I’ve heard quite a few stories of those turbo 4s needing internal engine work before 50k miles.

Do a rental review for us if you don’t mind.

If I get a chance to spend much time in it I will. So far all I could do is write about 30 minutes in the passenger seat. With all the Christmas stuff going on I don’t know if there will be much of an opportunity.

Yeah, that’s the way of the season.
