I work in a chemical lab and a few of us were correcting the blends done by our chemical blender. We were finishing up what he needed to do to correct all his batches because he cut corners. His response was to whine about how he had to walk far away from his station to get this info. More than that, he complained to his boss. Our defense/response? Maybe if you didn’t constantly screw up your chemical blends, you wouldn’t constantly have to check in with the lab to see how much you fucked up....

well here, it is just me and my boss. With the workload we have, no matter what I do, I’m doing the work of more than 1 person

I sacrificed my vacation time and paid holidays to make sure issues get cleared up before a new vehicle launches in Jan 2018, while my boss is on vacation with his family. I feel your pain.

Oh I’m feeling that one. Recently I didn’t get the promotion to assistant manager I was hoping for. They gave to to some one from our side the company who had management experience. However at the moment in still doing 50% of that job because that until she gets trained, and that position is filled, I’m the only one besides the store manager who knows how to do anything. I’m even helping train the girl who stole my promotion.
It’s been hard to have a good attitude at work recently. It really pisses me of that they (upper management) are willing to train some one on how the entire store operates, but not train me in management skills. Thankfully my boss is on my side, and is going to start giving me mana training anyway so the next time an opportunity opens up I’ll be prepared.
