I was working at an investment firm today, and this was sitting in the entryway.

This was also in the entryway. Place is pretty ritzy. Full floor in a nice building, heart of downtown Bellevue. It’s apparently a tradition for the first thousand dollars you make for the company to be framed and hung in your office. Huh.

Possibly. If there’s one thing I’ve learned through this line of work, it’s that these families are all connected in some convoluted way. The heiress of Paccar and the family involved in the Space Needle’s operation are close enough to be kin. I’ve worked for them for years, and just found that out from a random question I asked

I can believe it. I think a lot of the local wealth (as in not from overseas) is dynastic.

If memory serves me right, McCaw owned or owns the Bentley in the painting with the locomotive at center. I think it was at the old Kirkland Concours years ago.
