Came across this picture of what I’m assuming is the crash of the original XJ-13 in 1971. Now this got me thinking that I don’t think I’ve ever seen a picture of the original XJ-13 before the crash, and if Oppo has any leads on that it would be greatly appreciated. Here’s a pic I found that may be from before the crash, but idk.
If there’s any car to rival the greatest Renaissance artwork, it might as well be this.

After a little searching, here’s a few pics that appear to be pre-1971 vintage:
Not sure about this one, something about the photography feels modern even though the people’s dress appears old:
Edit: Looks like another angle from the same shoot, this one does not look modern:

Oh, and BTW, your photo is definitely post crash, the VW van is too new, as is the bike.

The following photos are from 2013 in Perth, Western Australia, of what I thought was a replica, if this happens to be the real deal then even better.

Since that’s a VW Vanagon in the background, the earliest that photo can be in 1982. Since that work van looks pretty beat, I’m guessing this has to be a photo from the late 80s - early 90s.

There’s also a Trek mountain bike with an u-lock. The coloring looks very similar to this frame dating ‘89. The u-lock makes think that the picture might be quite a lot newer. The flimsy wire locks were a lot more common in early 90's.
I think that all of the b/w pictures are from the ‘71 filming session.

The exhaust pipes and tires make me think it’s a replica, but damn it is beautiful nonetheless.

That and the third brake light in the engine bay means it probably is a replica, but considering only one was ever made, I don’t have a problem drooling over this one.
