I’m supposed to leave Monday afternoon and come back Tuesday afternoon. I’m driving a 2015 Ford Explorer with a full set of snow tires. I may not go. Driving over two mountain passes that are forecasted to get about 2 feet of snow during that time.

The problem is semi’s getting stuck on Lookout pass on the MT-ID border. They get stuck then you can’t go no where until they send tow trucks up from the other side.

I was thinking more like a 92 300zx TT auto with some period correct 25 year old Good Year Eagle’s.

Too bad, Coeur d’Alene is really pretty this time of year with the bald eagles feeding, but those passes can be a real mess.

It’s the other cars that are a problem for me. They get stuck or go way too slow. I’m pretty used to driving in the snow and ice.
