Spotted just outta Melbourne, couldn’t not stop.

**Not as sad as one with the ugly fixed American lights!

Ran when parked. I wonder if that’ll ever hit the road again.

Probably just a parts car based on the auction lot number, its salty condition and the fact it’s at a specialist Euro car service business in Hawthorn. Perhaps sourced by a customer to supply parts for a resto project?
Found two more in West Gippsland to go with it...$1000

Yeah, not all of them. They built the base model ID19 Parisienne here from 61-66 while still importing higher trim DS19 from Slough UK.
so on a technicality they weren’t a true DS. From what I know the ID19’s had less power, no power steering and vinyl seats.
aaand the more I read about it the more that one is a french import based on the headlights.

Thanks to you I spent last night reading the whole Wikipedia article on the car. Even if you weren’t strictly correct sir, you put me on the right path

most of what I know is from the aussiefrog forums, had to get onto them when my brothers 306 GTi6 snapped a clutch cable and I couldn’t find a way to fit the new one without breaking things.
