Dude that is THE TIME to wash the car. I’ve done it with a bucket of auto soap and a big car brush. I only did it when it was really coming down so I know it would rinse. And if yer a real Marine you go out in yer PT trunks and wash yerself too!

I live in Marin, 415, I’m in the shadow of Mt. Tam and I assure you it has rained very hard. But I grew up in Hawaii.
