Most of the other ones, the actual cause of death is clear. This one - drowning, hypothermia, dehydration, sharks...?
A wealth of possibilities.

Screw you too! Sorry, I went to a Christmas concert last night and Robert Crawley, Earl of Grantham told a story about a family that lost all of their 4 girls at sea. With little girls at home myself it was freaking lemon-onions grenades in the eyeholes. Damn him for making me have the feels and screw you for making me remember!

Oh wow, there are no words to how devastating that would be. I don’t know how I’d go on. I think I need to go home early and hug my daughter extra close. Just before I have to take her to swim practice (I’m not kidding).

Yeah, that was the gist of the story. About how they went on with their lives. They also had 3 more kids and 2 of them died in infancy. They ended up founding a charity and eventually a hospital. The kind of story that makes you feel pretty small.

I am constantly amazed at the depth of the human spirit such that people who have so much taken away can end up giving so much more because of it. And that truly is a Christmas thought.

yup. It was an inspiration story in the end but I hated his face for it at first.
