They’re quite good. Can see why they’re such popular imports. Comfy, quick, easy to modify, and nice to drive. And it’s a Toyota, so it’s probably going to be quite reliable.

Imagine how productive we’ll be with all of that free time!!!
Good thing I have a large backlog of automotive books and magazines to read.

I didn’t know that Alphards and second-gen Elgrands were importable as of this year.
The Citroen C3 Pluriel is importable as of next year.

I don’t know, your posts may be insufficiently patriotic to go through the intertubes.

I am so sad I will lose the internet. I do not know what to do. Move to Canada? Canada seems so cold.

Do you guys get the Mark X (the next generation of those) next year? Or is that 2019?

2019, I believe. I think it goes by year of production and not model year, but I may be wrong.

Move to Australia, it’s like Canada, but it’s not cold and everything is upside down.

You’re right. Japan doesn’t do model years, so you see things like 1999 S2000s there. I just couldn’t remember if the Mark X started in 2003 or 2004. (I refuse to acknowledge the existence of the Verossa.)

The Pluriel? Seriously? And this is coming from a multiple Peugeot owner who used to have a hydropneumatic Citroen as well.
Should I ship you something better? Like a 106 GTI or Saxo VTS? Or a 406 coupe or a Xantia.

It never was exactly good , but it’s genuinely odd and creative, something that we don’t see much of today. It’d probably bring a smile to more ordinary people than the hot hatches that are obscure, at best, to most Canadians.
