I love PTFE, but it also wears quickly. A nice mix of it and UHMWPE makes for some great slippery stuff.

We’d occasionally mill this stuff at my last job. Had to take small passes because that shit got hot for plastic, and it always make it look like the shop floor was covered in cocaine.

Lol yup. I was making pretty big passes like .525 deep with a .5 endmill full tool width. Cut like butter.

PTFE is good, but depending what you’re doing, have you tried UHMW?

It was for a customer. Customer supplied material. They usually specify UHMW. We have a shitload of UHMW lying all over our shop from them.
