that is interesting - a bit of a dead spot between the wing and the glass, or maybe a swirl? Wonder if the wing is actually improving drag, rather than making it worse. Neat.

That’s actually the one area that I don’t usually bother clearing snow away from.
I can’t stand having snow on my glass, lights, wipers, or on the hood or roof where it can shift to those spots. I do clear the trunk if there’s several inches of snow on it, so that it doesn’t block my view. But an inch or two? Nah. It’ll either blow off, or add a teeny-tiny bit of weight to the rear.
In this case, it stayed along for the ride. It is kind of a dead area, though. Random bits of snow were starting to accumulate on top, creeping up the sides of the rear glass. So I took these pics before cleaning it off.
