I gave up on having one shipped by Amazon after the first one was shipped to Indiana because UPS is illiterate and the second one showed up broken. So we went to Micro Center instead and picked up a Lenovo tower for around $350. I know next to nothing about computers, but this one is a major step up from my old one in performance. It has 8G RAM, a 1T hard drive (that I will never come close to filling), a 3.2 GHz AMD Radeon R7 quad-core processor, and it’s great so far. The only thing is my current speakers are crap so we’ll be going back to Micro Center later on to get new ones.

Sweet! You could probably upgrade that RAM if/when prices go down (ahaha like that’ll happen), but it looks solid!

I’m just happy that it can cope with playing simple games without struggling, TBH.
