So, the production version will have all the flanks, curves and creases ironed out almost completely as it hits production. Also, the headlights and tail lights will be giant (not sharp and sleek), standard issue and very BMW-family looking. So now I have nothing to get excited about.

Not surprised. Looks like an enlarged 4-series coupe with a sleeker and further swept-back fastback profile and everything else is just bigger. If it comes with a V12, that’ll be awesome though.

The tail light design was pretty much revealed in the M8 GTE.

They look pretty damn cool and seem about as close to concept as you could get for a production car.

What’ll ruin it for me will be the new chunky active-aero grille they’re putting on everything now.

I love the hollow race version.

That is extremely typical of bmw to do that. BMW keeps the same (roughly) design as the concept but then they take the fun out of it
