One of you Oppos got me curious, so I looked for Land Rover Defenders for sale around here, and surprisingly, I found one:
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!
Without knowing much, is that a terrible price? I assume, given the description, that the entire bottom of the vehicle is rusted away and that it has some crappy after-market stereo and has been driven to within an inch of the end of its life, but still... I am surprised to see one for sale. I’m also surprised by the seating arrangement in the back. I thought they had two seats up front, and two in the back.

The fact that it’s set-up for replies through autotrader to go to his work e-mail even though he can’t respond from there seems like the strangest part of the whole thing. I don’t care for the aftermarket stereo myself, but if the quality of the workmanship is up to par I wouldn’t be too put off by that.
I would certainly want to stick it up on a lift and get a really good look at the underside before making an offer though.

I’d buy that. Seems like a good price for a D90. The extra seats make it more usable for people hauling.

I’m not seriously considering it - it was more of an interesting find than anything.
