I has headed to lunch and pulled out behind this. I was very confused on what it was, and wish I had gotten a back view, since the rear tires had to be 275+ Pretty cool little car actually. So I did some research and found these pictures online. Seems it was at SEMA 2013, but I have no idea who built it, its specs, or why it would be cruising in Mequon, WI.

This car was for sale in (I think) Chicagoland for quite awhile. I seem to remember the asking price being silly high.
e: Here you go, I guess it was in Madison. I’ll leave it up to you whether $8500 for a Sonic with a rebuilt title is “silly high”

Hello Mr. Tireshop salesperson. I’d like a set of 295/30/19's, please.
Sure - Got yourself a 911 or something?
Nah, something way cooler. Surely to Spark your interest.
Oh yeah?
Yeah. Sonic. Turbeaux. AUTOMANUEL.
Whoa.
Yeah. Don’t worry. I’ll be back regularly to purchase $1,500 in tires for my $8,000 shitbox that can’t be aligned and rubs the tires everywhere.

great find. I’m not that far from Madison, so it was likely bought by someone over here
