After years of Priuses and PT Cruisers, our neighbors went out and bought a different car.
RIP their wallets.

I’m surprised it’s not another PT Cruiser. They’ve had like four of them at this point.

My bet is they keep it for 6 months max given an ownership history like that.

Dude the whole street is a black hole of poor automotive decisions: there’s these guys with their PT Cruisers and Phaeton, another family with a Dodge Journey and mid-2000s Chevy Impala, a guy who dailies a Jaguar S-Type, one family who has two first-gen Kia Rios, and then me with my SVT Focus and little brother with his 1997 Olds Cutlass.

Years ago a guy that lived up the street from my family had 4 Studebakers in his driveway, and he kept them long past when it made sense. There was one Lark Wagonaire. Some years went by, I went off to school, and hadn’t been by that house in a while. When I drove by the house again, he’d gotten rid of the Studebakers. In their place?
An AMC Pacer, a Pacer woody wagon, and a Hornet.
Talk about frying pan into the fire ...
