Can’t find your bit extension? Just cobble something together with adapters, ratchet extensions, and a hex bit sized socket.
This sucker’s never coming down. I have an innate distrust of anything drywall mounted so this shelf is bolted to the studs with two inch long screws.

With certain exceptions, I agree. At Ikea, they sell lots of (very heavy) shelves that will
never
line up with a stud.
