I had two weeks off and nothing planned but yard work and garage organizing.
I did a million other projects and basically ran around for the entire two weeks.
But here are my two major achievements.
Backyard before
Backyard after
Garage before
Garage after

Looks like good progress on both fronts!
Does this mean you’re going to work on that car again?

Did you rake the leaves, or just mow them? I do the latter. Looks nice. I may hire you to clean out my garage. It’s a disaster.

I hate leaves, too many hours of work. They make good free mulch though.

I’ve never really stopped working on it. I wanted to get some sandblasting done on the frame on vacation but when it was nice I was outside and when it wasn’t nice it was raining.

In the backyard I rake them and drag them out on a tarp because the yard is enclosed. The front yard I do less raking because it gets blown around too much. Mainly raking the pine needles and mowing the leaves in the spring.

I’m using them as free clean fill right now haha.

Ah, due to all the stuff surrounding it I assumed you had stopped working on it. Too bad you didn’t get to the sandblasting though.

Same thing here. The PO had a playset and they dug out a level hole, it is now filled with leaves.

After driving around a beat up old dump truck for the village I work for sucking up leaves I desperately want to cut down every tree within sight of my house. Leaves may be the death of me.

I desperately wish my town would offer that service. I have to bag all mine. My under 1/4 acre lot is covered in trees, so I end up filling about 50 bags a year. That’s stuffing them to the gills too. I hate fall, and I hate everybody who constantly blathers on about how great fall is. Fall sucks. Fall is death.

THAT LADDER IS LOOKING AT YOU
i cleaned the gutters friday and noticed yesterday they were full of leaves again. I also mowed my leaves. I go around the edge and slowly shrink the circle and then rack up the pile at the end.

I have a healthy respect for ladders.

God I wish. I saw a guy today working on his fifth damn pile. Every time we suck it up he drags out more to the curb.

Those lucky employees that don’t have to deal with it! Lol
It wouldn’t be so bad if the truck were in better shape though.

That would be me if I had the service. My back yard literally gets like 6” deep with leaves, if I don’t stay on top of them.

I wait and do one massive pile. I mow the first few minor drops then once the majority drops make a big pile. Then mow the last bits.
My pile this year was 6 ft across, 50ft long, and over three feet deep. I’m betting it filled the truck.

I’ve been doing it little by little this year, but I’ve done the massive pile thing too. I try to get them while they’re still dry, but we’ve had a really wet fall here.
