Asking 30,000$
Ad says:
Barnfind Some Part only With vin pannel (both) Very very rare vw Split window Popup flasher Asking 30 000Us Downpaiment on waiting *
Is it worth it for the vin panels only? Seems crazy

There is already a downpaiment on waiting so looks like someone already bought it.
New owner might throw a fresh coat of paint and sell it for one thousand million

Well it _IS_ possible that it’s worth it for the VIN panel alone - check out this recent sale, $217,000!!!!! https://www.barrett-jackson.com/Events/Event/Details/1963-VOLKSWAGEN-23-WINDOW-BUS-109474
But in that condition to start? Very CP.

Is it saying it has a trafficator? Also, I am not surprised some sociopath bought it. It is a strong CP, but lots of rich VW people smoke a lot.

Yes, “flasher” is a common way of saying indicator here

Paint needs some minor buffing.

‘All original’
‘Great patina’
‘Good starter project’
None of the above.

Barnfind:
To me, anyway, “barnfind” implies SOME semblance of preservation, protection from the elements, etc.
That’s just a “find” and barely more than a pile of scrap metal.

I’ve expressed that thought on a few other NPoCP posts - there is a crack pipe involved, but the seller isn’t the one smoking it - as in, relative to the market it’s a NP, but as a result anyone in the market is smoking a CP automatically.

Exactly, it’s not a barnfind if it’s been sitting out in a field for 40 years.

To me, it’s like walking onto a beach made mostly of shells and various pieces of shells (also known as “sand”) and saying “Wow, fossils!”

Smithsonian, I’ve found a rare crustaceon that I would like to sell you.
~Plops down a bag of sand (good luck putting it back together). I think $200k sounds reasonable?

just need to inflate tires and it will return to it’s intended shape. Like one of those bouncy houses when get deflated, it sorta looks like that

Yeah, just by using the word “barn”, you’re implying that the vehicle was in some sort of large, agricultural building. A field is clearly not a barn.
