Predict what MPGs I’ll get driving to Houston tomorrow morning. Important factors.
Bad upstream O2 sensor
New tires
Bad internal distributor seal and cracked cap
Fresh alignment!
No 5th gear
Duck taped together air intake
Probably other stuff I’m forgetting, but oh well. It’s a 4 cyl w/ V-TECH YO! btw.
I also spent many monies today. I’ll update the expenses later, because I’m going to try to install the radio right now.

Errr...what happened to 5th gear? Going to get it repaired, or is the linkage just out of alignment?

I bet you still get over 20. The likelihood of needing 5th gear anywhere near Houston is slim.

Depends, which of the burbs are you driving through?

17. Maybe more, maybe less, depending how much you would have needed that 5th gear.

I believe it’s just the shifter bushing. Because the further to the right you go, the sloppier it gets. And it’s like 5th doesn’t it exist at all, it’s not like it grinds or pops out or anything.
Plus on the forums people said that it’s common for cheap short shifters to cause you to loose 5th. Although I doubt this car has a short shifter.

99% of it will be on I-10 between SA and Houston. So fifth gear would be nice, but I don’t think it’ll affect things too much.

Whatever you get on the highway, it will drop by at least 50% for the remainder of the trip once you reach the outskirts of Houston and that lovely traffic. Happy trails!

Do you live in San Antonio now?

It really is a better system. Measuring the amount of fuel used over a set distance. Over the distance achieved with a set amount of fuel.

I think you’re going to be the closest. Although I think it’ll be a little less, like 23.

All these Oppo’s are in San Antonio, after I move away.

I would feel so much joy if your car got worse MPGs than mine. I have no shame.
