my boss came upstairs and said we could go home early. I go outside to start my truck and it sounds bad. Real bad.

it had decided it could not wait until thanksgiving to eat turkey, but wanted to right then and there eat a timing chain guide rail. awesome.

That truck became a WRX which became a minivan for my wife, which resulted in me getting an Allroad which died and now has me putting along in a Focus.

Similar bad anniversary: bad financial choice to help my parents out lead me to sell my TL Type-S, leaving me with only my Volvo 855T that decided on Thanksgiving morning to stop completely off of my driveway to never start again (complete corrosion of wiring harnesses). On my way to work (worked at a hospital at the time)!

Thats why I have a POS 2001 C240 that I had to finance and now that I own it outright, I keep full coverage on it because it’s all I got and can’t afford something else.

Hopefully your Focus is new enough that your biggest complaints are the DCT and SYNC.

Yeah the Integra has a bad habit of not always being there when you go outside to check on it...if you’ve got bad car luck, don’t get an Integra or old Honda. It will be stolen and stripped by the end of the week.

I can’t seem to find any photos right now but it was a silver ‘02 and ran flawlessly and I miss it sooooo much.

But I needed the money. And it still wasn’t enough to stop the bleeding.
