I know of at least two other people with birthdays today. What happens about 9 months ago that is so sexy? Oh right, Valentine’s day.

Yup... I’m 99.99% sure I’m an accident. I’m separated by my sisters by like 9 years.

Happy existence day. Here’s an example of my first car, an ‘89 Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo. Mine was in a bit rougher shape. I really miss the seats in that car. Best seats EVAR.

I’m a bit confused with the first picture... it looks like a Hyundai dealer but it has that?

It probably used to be a Oldsmobile / Pontiac / Hyundai dealer, and now it is just a Hyundai dealer.

Fair point... the Pontiac dealer I bought my G6 from became a Kia dealer.

I can’t tell you how badly I wish I could’ve kept the seats when mine went to the junkyard. Alas, it was 1000 miles away when my dad resigned it to its inevitable fate. Also, I was in college at the time.

My dad did everything possible to keep his on the road, including some home-done body work. He loved that car. If they still made them, I’m sure he’d buy another. It felt like you were sitting in something special.

My dad did too. Ultimately the ABS system did it in. Those early high pressure systems, when they failed the car lost most of the braking power. He couldn’t find anybody who could fix it. Many tried. Much dollars were spent. I have no doubt he’d buy another one today, if he could.
