I would have changed the tyres on a 48 year old car, but wow that thing is clean.
Would consider it as a daily if I live in the US

If I had the spare cash and a garage, I’d totally daily it in the summer. That thing has to be kept in a garage

Better to have one yeah.
I find it funny that there was no real change from the 1960 model if you check the engine bay

That’s a miracle. Those were fleet specials, destined for taxi use, etc, especially with that drive train.

Nice car, and probably a nice price.

Very nice until I realize that it has an automatic transmission.

That is a seriously nice time capsule even by BC standards. Yeah it’s an auto six, but wow.

Canadians as a whole used to have more economical spending habits - more of our cars were sixes, Bel Air and Biscayne model names lasted longer here, and the Civic has been the best-selling car for some 20 years.

Good point! There’s a guy on here who owns (owned?) a full-sized ‘65 Pontiac with a six/stick in Canada, and that wasn’t even a thing here in the US - and a while ago, he almost bought another ‘65 Pontiac (wagon!) with a six/stick.

In the US, even big Chevys and Fords usually had a small V8 under the hood - though I have driven a ‘62 Impala with a 6.
