On this ugly new !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! when one of !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! costs 1/40th as much (holy f**k) and actually retains some semblance of grace and style and class which the new one, with its “Chrysler 300 with a fake Bentley grill” front end lacks entirely?
The above pictured car is basically my perfect modern car, if you’re wondering.

does it rev or does it harrumph?

Do I understand correctly that the above automobile costs $3,500,000?

That is definitely prettier than the new one.

looks like a Camaro with a 300 grille

No, the above car costs $83,000. The new Mulsanne ‘vert in the first line is the $3.5 mil atrocity.

If we’re talking about the new one, I agree.

And nobody, save someone who works for Bentley, would have any idea what you have. Spend 400K on a regular one, or better, get one with a BUMPER-TO-BUMPER warranty (like a Rolls Dawn) from a dealer or Carmax.

yes, the new one, of course

Somehow I think that, using the $320,000 left over, I can find/afford a mechanic to work on it. Just kind of a hunch.

Well, I think the Rolls thing is pretty atrocious also, but I’m confused as to what it actually is.
Here’s what I’d spend $83,000 on:

Or buy a fleet of Boxsters to use when it breaks ...

Because it’s ugly

Please tell me you didn’t just call the Phantom Drophead hideous..
![]() 11/20/2017 at 08:26 |

I didn’t. I called it
atrocious
. It looks like a brick on wheels. And isn’t it really an Audi in an expensive suit? And half a million dollars... And I’ll add insult to injury by ordering my CTS-V with an
automatic
transmission... But can we agree to disagree and still be friends?

1. I’m still hurt.
2. BMW. VW/Audi makes Bentley, BMW makes Rolls.
3. Ugh fine.

I didn’t realize Bentley and Rolls weren’t the same company.

Honestly the chrome grill on the old is kind of ugly too. If you got the new one all in one color it’d be nice.
Old photoshop but still.

Used to be, back in the day. They went their separate ways back in the late 90's.

True enough

Convertibles don’t interest me, and big convertibles like this are ALL kinds of boring.
If I’m rich enough to buy a car like that, I’m rich enough to keep myself properly isolated from the peasants. If I need sun, I go to my villa or whatever...

I love them, largely because I love huge luxury cars and convertibles independently of each other.

Huge luxury cars? Yes, please.
That’s nearly perfect. If only I was swimming in dollar bills...
