After 65,000 miles the duratracs were toast. I debated going from a 33 to a 35, but decided against it on account of no good place to put the spare. So here are the new tires. Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 285/75r16. Also Squee
See? I told you.
I hear good things about the Falkins and I like how they are winter rated and full depth sipes so they will probably still be good at the end, unlike the Duratracs. E load, 55,000 treadwear warrantee and a good $50 less per tire than the Ko2 or Duratracs. Here’s hoping they do the trick!

Sold a set of those AT3's last week on a Ram. I didn’t like how narrow they looked compared to the Wranglers. They looked a bit stretched. If I bought a set for mine I would try to go a little wider than stock.

I’m just in love with the perfect amount of poke my wheels and tires have. It’s the one reason I got the 20" wheel package on my truck for the couple extra bucks a month on the lease.
I’m hoping I can make the OE Goodyears last the life of the lease, but from what I’ve seen and heard they probably won’t.

What’s the MPG on that car? I’m thinking a new LC, but those things get atrocious mileage.

Atrocious is the correct answer. The 200 series is a little better but you go into Land Cruiser ownership knowing you have credit car with good fuel points ready and waiting to use.

Consdering it for my wife’s car. Which means it’ll have 30-50k miles after 10 years.

Go for it, why not? Have you considered the lesser cruiser, the Lexus gx? The 200 is a much bigger thing than my 80 and unless you want or need the room it may be more for more sake
