Incase you forgot. Lincoln made a Foxbody for big boys,
And an VIII for good measure.
I hate to say it but I almost wish Lincoln would bring back the Continental spare hump.

I still think the Mk VIII is a damn good looking car.
I just wonder if you can even repair the neon taillights on them.

I think the neon taillights were standard on the LSC and optional on the other trims. The taillight section below the trunk lid contained 2 neon strips; one that came on with the headlights and a brighter one that worked as brake lights.

I saw one about a month ago. It sat in a parking lot next to where I work for a week or so, had something broken in the suspension.

The one from the first image is something I’d expect in a remake of Training Day (or Training Day 2)....Beauties.

You can get them fixed, I know someone who builds aftermarket ballast kits for them. Neons are stock on all gen2 Mark VIIIs, the first gen (pre-fl) had a lightband made from normal light bulbs.

My uncle has a brown ‘89. He’s owned it since it was new.
Also this was one of my favorite model kits to build as a kid:
I did mine in burgundy with tan interior

The air shocks on those wore out quickly if not maintained.

That’s an awesome model. I need to get one for me an limy kid to put together. I only did one as a kid. It was a 67 Ford Fairlane 500, I painted it a nice candy red.
