The two stroke machines up front are ready to rock. The single stage snow blower up front was garbage picked by my dad a few years ago.
Next to that is my buddy’s no title 50cc Zuma. I offered to store it for him, in exchange for having something to ride the last couple months. His garage is teeny tiny, so he jumped at it
In front of that is the ‘00 Honda Elite 80 that I bought last week for $100. It also has no title, and was last registered in ‘09.
In back is my big scooter, winterized and awaiting a new exhaust to replace the cracked one.
Also in the back, is the freaking enormous old Craftsman snow blower that I garbage picked maybe a month ago.
First priority is getting the big blower going. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to keep it or sell it. It’s freakin HUGE, and I really don’t want to store it ... but I have a hunch this winter is going to be a bad one. We’ve had two really mild winters in a row, so we’re due to get whacked by an ugly one.
In other news, the RallyMetro is ready to rock for the final event of the year. It’s going to be cold and possibly wet, but I can’t wait to hit the rallycross track! I don’t think I’m going to be able to sleep much tonight.

If you think this winter will be bad use the snow blower this winter and sell it next fall.

Thanks!
If you search Oppo for the tag RallyMetro (all one word), you can read all about my escapades with it. It’s one tough little bastard!

I might just do that. Or I may sell it in the spring. I’ll get less for it, but then it won’t be in the way all spring/summer. It was free, so anything I get for it is gravy.

Use the big snow blower and list it high at the same time. 1st big snow storm you’ll sell it and get a free driveway clearing while they test drive it. The single stage will handle 90% as long as you don’t wait till the snow gets super hard or piles up over 18 inches or so.

I might be interested when you sell it. So keep me in mind please

That’s a good idea! I’m going to try that.
I’ve been really happy with the single stage. I’m not the type to let it get too high or sit too long.

Agreed I had the craftsman version single stage when I lived in western ny and it handled that really well. I was surrounded by elderly folks so when I went out to do my 2.5 wide by 10 car long drive I’d hit at least 2 others and that thing would chew it all up no issues. Now I live in NC and that fixed all my snow problems:)

That Drift Breaker is pretty sweet. Hope it doesn’t take much to get it running.
So you got that wheel bearing issue all straightened out on the Metro, huh?

All my neighbors have big 2-stages. Sometimes I’ll do my next door neighbors driveway when there isn’t a ton of snow, so he doesn’t have to wrestle that beast. He’s done mine a few times when we got a bunch of snow while I was at work. (He’s retired, but not elderly).

It turns over, has oil, and the gas tank is dry, so I’m hopeful.
There’s a little play in the right front hub/bearing still, but such is life when racing junkers. I shall adhere to the Gambler 500 motto: Just Send It.

Ahh the fridged northern bond between neighbors. I miss it a bit but not that much! Had a good friend that plowed so worst case for me was a 6 pack of goodies out by the mailbox with a sos text for the times I wasn’t home to take care of it myself (or that one time I really did throw my back out shoveling pre snowblower)

That huge Craftsman snow blower looks like a MONSTER!
I bet you’d need ear protection to run that thing.
It’s terrifying!

That’s always a good backup to have! A buddy of mine used to have a plow truck, but not anymore.

It’s the biggest damn snowblower I’ve ever seen! Total overkill for my midwestern suburban driveway and sidewalks.

Indeed. Five cylinders of screaming fury!
If I combined them with the RallyMetro, I have eight!
