This reminds me that by some miracle none of Mike Finnegan or David Freiberger’s on camera activities have resulted in parts exiting an engine.

Usually the engines they get are too worn out to blow like that. They stop when the blowby is so bad they get kicked off the track.

Even the times on Engine Masters when they were trying to blow the engine up failed to result in parts on the floor.

...Define “exiting an engine”. Pretty sure most cars have had stuff fall out, including needing a whole or partial rebuild despite the car costing 500$ and it being the literal first mile of the trip.
Now forcibly throwing rods and valves? They haven’t done that yet, I think...

They’d destroyed parts, but true, no brooms needed. They always seem to know when they got right to the edge.

Parts that are supposed to be contained within the engine exiting of their own accord. Parts must be external to the engine without outside disassembly. They have had some good internal carnage but they have yet to pick parts up off the road.

The 12v cummings can be tuned to crazy HP. Like 1,000 HP and 1500 ft-lbs of torque.
