Why is it ridiculous to name it for exactly what it is? Other name suggestions? Just curious, I don’t really see the issue with the name.

To me, its as if they are naming things with the slang “nom” in it, as if humans were food for a cartoon robot.
Its a car. Not a cartoon.
In fact, I encourage automakers to rename any car who’s name evokes emotion. I think McLaren got it right with the MP12-4C. /s (I’m going a step further to show how ridiculous my notion is and I am aware of that. Nevertheless, I will hate any car that has “nom” in its name.)
