While their Attorney General is advocating more guns, Texas is revoking titles of dune buggies and similar vehicles, saying they are unsafe. No grandfathering, either.

Seems backwards. You can hunt deer with a buggy. My uncle killed one last year with his CR-V.

I guess I’m not moving to Texas...
And come on. More people are injured or killed by accidental discharge of a gun than by properly built and licensed dune buggies, and I’m pretty sure I don’t need to pull up stats to prove it.

The governor was on TV last night after the worst mass shooting in TX history (we’ll over look all those Indians for now), saying that we all need to go home and hug our kids. Yeah, because they might be dead tomorrow. Wouldn’t make sense to actually, you know, do something about it.
Also, if you are looking for any sort of sensible, thoughtful solutions from Ken Paxton and the TX government, you’re wasting your time.

A stupid response to a nonexistenting issue (like threatening to secede from the U.S.).
Aren’t Manx a kit car? If so that would mean that anyone building a Factory Five vechicle or the like could be considered illegal as well.
The state of TX will get sued and it will all be resolved favorably in the next 18 months.

I’d even argue that more die from accidental discharge than from those 3 wheeled ATVs that were sold in the 80s.
