Looks like Sam’s Club? I always get the 4-berry sundae when I go.

I used to feed three kids for $3. Two hot dogs and two drinks. Can’t beat it.

Here’s a quick thing. Do you have family/friends/know anyone very near Cape Town?

I shop there in Japan, too.

OMG, I love those. I get a couple to take home when I go there. My wife freaks because she can only eat half of one in a sitting. I think the size is perfect.

Next year you can drive there in Rusty!

Mrs. BaconSandwich and I sometimes do a cheap date night there with the kids. The only thing I wish they had at Costco in Canada that I had in California is fat free frozen yogurt.

I don’t know. I was at Costco today (buying hot dogs and buns for a church event) and for some reason the materialism and excess of it all was kind of getting to me.

It is a great resource for business owners, etc., but it definitely also feeds the rampant excess consumption of far too many of our fellow citizens.

I was hoping to have Rusty at least drivable by Thanksgiving, but the Versa has developed a rear main seal leak bad enough to let out the better part of a quart of oil in a thousand miles. So I’ll be dropping the transmission — again — and replacing the seal. Did I already mention this?

So Rusty waits. But Rusty had been parked for ten years or more when I got it, so... Slow but steady progress.

I think of Costco as a source for staples that we consume. We don’t buy much else there.

I have a few friends living in Cape Town, are you heading down there at any point soon?

Didn’t know the Versa seal problem.

Have you seen the Dodge A100 van episode of Wheeler Dealer? They sprayed the inside of the van with bedliner material. Not sure of you want to go that path but it was functional.
