According to the power company 796 out of 931 in my town have no power.
30,374 out of 70,481 people in my county are out of power.

Did I miss some some big storm in the news? Where are you?
I’m 30 minutes outside of Buffalo, NY and last year we had a wind storm that knocked power out for 3 days. Immediately after I bought a generator.

I’m in Maine. We had a windstorm roll through that no one was really ready for with 60mph winds. Broke my fence and knocked trees down all over the state.

Maybe they should spend more time fixing power lines and less time calculating exactly how many people don’t have power... I’m impressed the government can even be that precise.

Hopefully it comes back soon. I used to enjoy storms like that before I had kids. I stay relatively well prepared, but now that I have kids, being without full heat isn’t a lot of fun. Good luck.

It’s the power company not the government. They lose $ everyday we’re not consuming electricity so I’m confident they are doing what they can to get us back.

Heat would be nice but running water would be nicer

Man, sorry to hear that. I’m in New Hampster and we were lucky to only lose power for about 12 hours. This storm really did hit a lot harder than we expected. Lots of people around me are still without power.

It’s an adventure to be sure. I think tonight I’ll clean out the fridge and get some water from a pond to flush the toilet.

Last night I threw away so much food from my fridge. I grilled up a ton of meat that had almost thawed out in my freezer. Stuck what I could in a cooler.

Lol! No, we do not!
I hope your utility knows what they are doing and that you get power back soon. Worrying about your family is the toughest part.
