I saw these videos and figured it was just silly little bleeps and bloops but damn. That’s actually really nice sound synthesis for a calculator. I have heard keyboards that sound worse than this. Considering these 4 function calculators are about as basic in design as you can possibly get (they have been a single chip design reaching back into the late 70s) adding this must have doubled the development cost on these.
