So today is more than just Halloween to me. It is also my two year wedding anniversary! Yes, my wife and I are those people. Now post some vintage hearses!
I think it is awesome to have found somebody as much into old hearses as I am. It may be weird to some, but vintage hearses are a thing of beauty. We want to eventually have one someday, preferably a ‘59 Miller-Meteor or Superior. Maybe one day it will happen.

Thanks! I love the vintage carved side hearses. There’s a beautiful Packard at a museum in Ohio that I got to see a couple years ago.

Thanks! Always cool to see how a side loader is supposed to work.

They were mainstays in most smaller North American towns where funds precluded the purchase of separate vehicles. Certain regulations in the 1970s encouraged the adoption of much more medical equipment to treat the patient on-site in addition to rushing to the hospital, and truck-based platforms provided enough room to do that, so these combinations were all phased out.
