363 days. That’s how long I owned 3 cars at same time. I will miss Mimii but she is going to a good home. Parking three cars, insurance, maintenance, etc. was getting tiring. I had her for 3 years and 10 months. We had some good times but I’m ready to move on. A picture for your time:
Pour one out

Multi-car oppo owners are dwindling!

How often did you drive it? Did you ever DD while you had the Ferrari?

I used to drive it about every Friday or every other Friday. Sometimes on weekends as a runabout. But I’ve had it parked at work for the past month. Just pretty much stopped driving. It was time.

I figured with the Ferrari it wouldn’t see too much seat time. When I got laid off, I barely drove my 128i at all.

Yeah pretty much. I still enjoyed driving since it was a totally different experience compared to the 348. Just fun and flickable.

I totally get that, just a different experience. Variety is always good, says the man with 2 E9Xs.

couldn’t have waited 2 days?

I’m still at 3 with no plans of decreasing!

I want to be a multiple car owning oppo.

Lololol! Variety is over rated

I really really wanted to but these things are easier on the weekends and I’ll be out of town next weekend. Timing just worked out. I also wanted a nice picture of all three cars together. Oh well. I know the new owner so I’ll prob still have a chance to make that happen

If I had more space, I’d definitely have more cars. Like, I can understand hoarders. Which might be a problem haha

It’s only a problem if you let it be. I’m the same way. I tend to collect, and not let go of things, even things I got for free, and have no plans for. I’ve learned to talk myself “you don’t need it and it’s taking up space. Get rid of it.”

I’ve been getting better about it. Not all the way there yet though haha

Congrats. Now how much of your next Ferrari service will that cover? XD

Thanks! It was a sad day but it was definitely time.
The next service should be reasonable. I only have to do the oil, air filter, brake fluid, and a few checks. I might do all this myself.
The next major is a different story, though. Hopefully it will stay between $5-10k. In which case, the Miata would cover half, depending on where it lands. The major is only due every 5 years (mine is due 10/2019) so that breaks down to $80-160 a month. It doesn’t seem too bad when you think about it like that haha.

That is a big service. Nice you don’t have one of the more service oriented Italians. Definitely makes me want them less, but then again my dream Ferraris are all front engined anyway.

I mean, the engine still needs to come out to do the belt job. But I think it’s like the IMS issues on the 911's. Everyone goes on and on about it, but it really isn’t that big of a deal. Yeah it’s expensive, but the service is still likely cheaper than depreciation on a new luxury car. It’s all about your priorities and attitude haha

That is fair.

It’s me justifying it, at least! haha
