The area of a circle is 4*pi*(diameter/2)^2. The area increases with the square of the diameter. The bigger the circle, the smaller amount of the mixture will be hardener.

IMO this is the worst Chrisfix video yet. Seems to my amateur eye that there are several problems with the way he addresses this.

His method suggests that the ratio really doesn’t matter at all, and a random squirt on top will work.
