These are the cream of the crop from Tire Rack. Some decent ones but the lack of selection in the “I don’t really like those overdone wheels” market is staggering.
I like these, apart from the branding in the cap.
Might as well be stock GMC wheels. Powdercoated though.
I like these.
...maybe? Too heavy though. Maybe the tires will make up that difference, dunno.
I’ve pretty much decided I’ll have to move up a size, Hankook makes tires in my stock size *for now* but it appears to be a largely dead size. Going to go with Hankook again this time and hope my snows and summers die at a similar time since I committed to 16" again last spring.
But, once I decide something is going to happen I obsess over it until it happens. I hope some half-decent choices come to market before then.
...alternately, I could find some stock 18's and powdercoat them. Reasons.

I liked the ATX (American Racing) Mojave, but they didn’t make it with Colorado Bolt pattern when I had mine.
What I always wanted to do was swap in the multi spoke 18" from the ZQ8 with all terrains
If you are looking for a tire recommendation, I found the Yokohama Geolandar AT-S was quiet, long wearing, with excellent wet dry snow grip, for half the price of a comparable BF Goodrich

They are in the minority of truck owners, but I’m not sure if they’re in the minority of truck owners who buy aftermarket wheels. 100% of bro trucks have rims (it’s a requirement, obviously, hah), but maybe 5% of non bro truck trucks have aftermarket wheels? At least where I live (NC) it seems to be pretty rare to see a truck that’s not a bro truck with aftermarket wheels.

While they are the minority, truck owners as a whole seem to like tacky shit. Just look at the factory chrome options. It’s everywhere just for the sake of being there. I rarely see a truck/jeep around here (ones w/ aftermarket wheels) that aren’t overdone and tacky.

I could live with it. I couldn’t live with the performance it would suck (assuming the smaller tire weight doesn’t balance it out). As it stands, it’s about 8lb heavier than the 17's, so an extra 32lb between all 4... rotating weight in the wheels is worth about 6-9lb inside the vehicle... call it an extra 230lb. Ew.
Stock center caps won’t fit that one. Different type. Could maybe plastidip or powdercoat, but if I’m buying rims I want them to be right already.

I had a heck of a time getting someone to scrape together 4 tires in my size last spring when I got my summer tires, and now the winters are pretty limited too. My size is listed as available in several different tires... until you call to check stock. They just aren’t there to be brought in.
