CX7 turbo in the shop today was street parked in the city when apparently some kind of altercation occurred, and the poor Mazda served as a trusty backstop to some (my guess) 9mm. 2 rounds through the bumper cover, condenser, radiator, AC line, radiator support, and battery.

Someone just putting it out of its misery. That’s why I can’t have a gun, I’d just go around putting rounds into the hoods of GM J bodies and old minivans.

So what stopped the bullets? The battery? Block? Something else?

Battery definitely stopped one. Not sure about the other.
